Readorly is made by Freehub Technology Inc. ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your documents never leave your phone, and there is no account.
Your documents
Documents you add are opened, read and turned into speech on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them.
What stays on your device
Your library, where you left off in each document, and your settings are stored only on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Services we use
The app uses a few Google services. Each one receives only what is described here, never the content of your documents.
- Google AdMob shows ads in the free version. It may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and basic device information to show and measure ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice anytime in Settings, Ad privacy options. Premium removes ads.
- Firebase Analytics records how the app is used, such as which screens are opened and the app version, so we can improve it.
- Firebase Crashlytics sends a report when the app crashes: device model, Android version and the technical details of the error.
- Firebase Remote Config lets us change some app settings without an update. It uses an app installation ID.
- Google Play Billing handles premium purchases. We never see your payment details.

Natural voices
The natural voices are downloaded through Google Play, together with the app. Google Play's privacy policy applies to that download; we receive nothing from it.
Children
Readorly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and rights
You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings, change ad consent in Settings, and delete everything the app keeps by uninstalling it. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or KVKK), you have the right to access and delete your personal data. Since we keep no account or documents on our servers, most requests are answered by the steps above; for anything else, write to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app with a new date.
